The School of Music at Florida International University invites you to attend Crossing Boundaries, a lecture series comprised of distinguished scholars and outstanding people in the arts discussing their experience and relationship with music. Meet renowned Professor Emeritus of Law at Harvard University, Alan Dershowitz, and members of the Amernet String Quartet, FIU's Ensemble-in-Residence, for a discussion on the nature of interpretation as it relates to legal texts and musical scores. As part of the evening, the celebrated Amernet will perform a transcription of a Beethoven Piano Sonata by composer Jeffery Briggs.
